The products in this sector are Medical Devices (optical frames and ophthalmic lenses) and Personal Protective Equipment (sunglasses) and are therefore subject to European directives that guarantee their safety and quality.
Defining, monitoring and adapting industry standards are therefore a strategic asset for ANFAO and its member companies. The ANFAO and CERTOTTICA Technical Commissions work in this direction through active and constant participation in national and international standardisation working groups.
For certification in particular, CERTOTTICA is a notified body in Brussels and accredited by the Ministry of Economic Development.
